Q140
Dual-Cavity Acoustic Wall System
The Q140 Dual-Cavity Acoustic Wall System is a free-standing acoustic partition for situations where there is no solid base wall to line. Deep Main 112MS and Sub 114SS cassette keels frame a wide dual cavity around a central partition board, giving two independent air gaps that break the airborne transmission path.
Filled with mineral / synthetic wool and finished with composite insulation board and plasterboard, the Q140 delivers STC 41 / Rw 41 dB as a complete stand-alone wall — suitable for new room divisions and back-of-house separation.

Sound Insulation Prediction

All STC, OITC and acoustic performance figures are estimated / simulated values (INSUL Sound Insulation Prediction v9.0.22, © Marshall Day Acoustics 2017) intended solely as design references — not guaranteed field performance. Final results depend on site conditions, construction details and installation quality, beyond the control of INSUL.
